Next Mirliton Order

Well the impending order is once again Mirliton. I’ve got the order ready but this is the last call just in case someone would like something. Remember, they shut down for the whole of August so its going to be late September / early October before I can order from them again.

End of line Ranges

Shadowforge  and Bederken stocks are almost depleted now, and I won’t be getting anymore in. Importing costs are just too high so if you want anything from what’s left, now would be a good time to grab it.

FigurePainter Magazine

Just a note to let you know of a little contest FP magazine are running on their Facebook page. Simply upload an image of your painted miniature onto their Facebook page and the one with the most ‘likes’ at the end of the month wins a free display plinth from Model Display Products.

MH forum member Inso is steaming away with his latest project, which is well worth a read by clicking on the above link. Well worth doing so too as his background writing is always well thought-out and a pleasure to read.

He’s also put this bad boy together.

Its a Reaper Pathfinder Dragon, sculpted by Julie Guthrie, and one of the best Dragons currently on the market. It’ll be even better when he’s painted it. Coming back into stock soon.

… a Reaper Hell Hound. But this one has been based and painted by Sean ‘Jabberwocky’ Fulton. I think its safe to say its pretty ‘hot’ paintwork. Its nearly finished so if you’d like to keep up to date with the finished piece, keep an eye on his forum thread by clicking on the image above.

Darksword Miniatures Update

Just updated the shop with the latest releases from DarkSword miniatures.

Reaper Bones Update

Now you would have had to have been living under a stone for the last 18 months to not have heard about Reaper’s plastic ‘Bones’ miniatures.

They’re great quality, and being plastic great value too. you’ve also no-doubt heard that they ran a rather successful Kickstarter campaign last year. This has enabled them to expand the bones range quite dramatically.

They should have been released in March 2013, but as these things seldom run to plan it wasn’t to be. Now however after a few false starts things are looking good.

Kickstarter pledges are now shipping and the proposed general release date for the rest of us will be the 31st July 2013.

And they’ve published images of nearly everything too. Just click on the Bones logo to go to their gallery.

These will all be available to pre-order from the MH shop the week commencing 22nd July 2013.

 

News

Much like a swan swimming serenely across a lake, the view you can see only tells half the story. Beneath the water its paddling away like mad, which is a bit like me here at MH at the moment.

Changes are afoot in the background. To be honest you probably won’t notice much difference. However I am changing ISP on the 30th June so might not be online for a time while that takes place. The shop will be unaffected.

Whilst these changes are being undertaken, its also a good chance for me to ask you all for feedback. What do you like / dislike about the site, products, newsletter etc. Send emails, comment on the blog or via facebook and twitter.

Pre-Owned Update

Some pre-slotta Slann and a few Vikings to go with them in this update. Also a Red Dragon, a Wizard and a Dwarf.

First though a Goblin

A couple of reasons for showing this rather superb little chap from the Mannequin Miniatures Range.

First its been excellently painted by Jabberwocky and you can vote on it at CMON HERE

Secondly its by Kev Adams, which brings me neatly onto Goblinaid. All the donated sculpted Goblins are now in with the Goblinaid high command and are now probably with RPE ready for turning into shiny metal goodies. As soon as these go live I’ll post as let you all know.

However for the latest news I recommend you ‘like’ the Goblinaid facebook page.

Ordering update

Had a Reaper and a Mirliton order arrive on Friday, so I’ve been busily packing them ready for a Monday 3rd dispatch.

This also means a restock on Reaper products, mainly the bones plastics and the paints.

However speaking of Mirliton, I’ve had a bit of a break through. They’ve agreed to waive the minimum order amount. So I no longer have to reach 150 euros worth before I can place an order.

Clearly I’ve still got to get an economic order together, but it does mean I now have the potential to order more often, and get their products in quicker.

So bearing in mind its now June, and Mirliton shut down for the whole of August, getting you orders in now might be a good idea.

Tonight is also Reaper order night!
