2015 was a productive and rewarding year, and I'd like to thank everyone who made a purchase, comment, like, share and retweet. Without all of you I wouldn't be able to do what I love doing, and that's being knee deep in miniatures all day :)
With the start of the new year it's also a good time to recap on how the shop has progressed. The big behind the scenes change has been the reorganisation of the storage area. I'm now able to hold much more stock then I was previously. Stock levels will continue to grow in 2016, and with the Reaper Bones II releases now complete, I'm happy to say new stock will, on the whole be metal miniatures. More Dark Heaven Legends, and the start of the Warlord range to support the game rules. Of course quite a few of the metal Warlord range are already released in bones plastic, so warbands can be put together quickly, and cheaply.
Otherworld stocks will continue to grow, as too will the pre-owned section. I've got lots more to put up there as and when time permits.
This is also a good time to try something new with regard to marketing and letting you all know what's new in the shop. For the past few years I've used Windows live writer linked through to blogger software. Sadly Google, blogger's owner, now no longer support it. Also you're now going to need a Google account to follow the blog, those that don't are being removed. Further on I can see Blogger going the way of the dodo, so after today I won't be posting there anymore.
As all we small business owners know, Facebook limits the amount of people that see our posts. I can understand this to a point as they need to make money from a site that only has its membership as a resource. However the numbers are so low that for a micro business like MH it's hardly worth posting. Some companies have resorted to setting up group pages, which do get better post viewing figures. However I fear it won't be long before Facebook cotton onto this and restrict it too.
So this just leaves the good ole Newsletter which I'll be using as my main means of updating you all. I've linked it to both my Facebook pages and my twitter feed too, well hopefully :/. The drawback is that I can't email too many pictures or the size of the mail becomes silly. So it'll just be one or two in future linking to the New products part of the MH site.
So with that ramble out of the way, on to a bit of news.
As previously mentioned the last the the Reaper Bones II kickstarter miniatures have gone on general release. They've also been extra busy and released a few new metals too.
Darkstar Inks are up in the shop too, along side their excellent range of metallics.
Just click on the picture to go to the New products section.
ps, if you're already registered with the shop but would like to start getting this newsletter directly, please email me directly so I can add you.

Last newsletter of the year, which seems to have gone quicker that ever before. Still it’s been pretty good professionally and I’d just like to thank all my customers, old and new, for making it so.
So on with the news.
The next order, and the last of this year will be placed on the 15th December at 10.00am.
Please allow extra time for this one to come in as it will have the Christmas shutdown to content with.
My next order with Reaper will be on the 15th January 2016.
Last Posting Dates
These are recommended by Royal Mail so please be aware they can still not deliver your parcel in time for Christmas, even if its posted on the right date.
Molten Metal Paints
Non Metallic Metallics (NMM), were how the old masters painted to represent gold and silver tones. This was because they didn’t have any high quality metallics to work with. But if they had been able to get their hands on these from Darkstar Miniatures, I don’t think they would have bothered.
These are a comprehensive range of high quality metallic paints, covering just about every metallic surface you’ll encounter on a mini. The are acrylic, have a very strong pigment density and work very well with Reaper MSP, Citadel colours and Scale 75 paints. I’ve been playing around with some samples for a couple of weeks now, and I have to say I’m very happy with them.
They’re now in the shop so you can try them too. And as an introductory offer they’ll be 15% off till the 15th December. I have some stock, but can easily get more so just pre-order if the stock level is 0

Saturday, 28 November 2015
To start with, my next Reaper order will be placed on Monday 30th November at 10.00am. Usual drill, but items on this order won’t be here in time for Christmas 2015.
Reaper are releasing these new miniatures on the 30th too. So to make things a bit easier I’ve uploaded them into the shop now so they can be pre-ordered.
Sadly they don’t come painted or based like the ones in the pictures.
Darksword have been busy too.
The Pre-owned section has had a few new recruits too.
The Plinth section has received a bit of attention too.
These are some new designs in Oak, Walnut and Yew wood.
Bespoke commissions also undertaken. If you have something you’d like made just send me an email via the shop and we can discuss it further.
For example here is a little something I made to the customer’s design a short while ago. It’s going to hold something very impressive when it’s all completed.
Finally FPM 31 is here !
Another cracking read from the boss and all the crew.
Right that’s it,
