Limited Edition 54mm Citadel Wood Elf

Something very special here. A citadel 54mm scale miniature of a female wood elf.

This was a limited run of 2000 and was only presented to staff in recognition of their hard work throughout the year.

This one is numbered 1239 and comes with its certificate and original blister.

The blister is a bit battered but still intact and useable.

The certificate has lead line markings on its back from where the miniature has touched it, but is otherwise in very good condition.

The miniature itself hasn't been painted or assembled. Only its metal base has been attached to a 50mm square slotta base by some green stuff.

Bones Release Date Revised (again!)

Found out today that Reaper have pushed back the general release date of the Bones miniatures to the 19th August.

Clearly not the news any of us were hoping for, but equally nothing we can do about it either.

So where does that leave your pre-orders? Well exactly as they were to be honest. As soon as I can get them I will order the now large amount of Bones miniatures you’ve all been good enough to pre-order, and get them out to you as soon as I can. It just won’t be as quickly as I had first thought.

At the time of writing I would expect to be dispatching the first of the new Bones towards the mid to end of September 2013.

Also, Parcelforce have failed to deliver the Reaper order I was expecting in today. Therefore I won’t be able to dispatch those orders I would have done for Friday 26th July.  These orders will now go out the week commencing the 29th July.

I don’t actually have any control over the above events, but I am sorry for any inconvenience they may cause. If you have any queries or order concerns please just email me through the shop.

Reaper Bones Update

Reaper have now started shipping kickstarter pledge rewards to all those waiting overseas. For those that didn’t pledge the new miniatures in the Bones line go live on the 5th August 2013.

Now I know this is a little later than I have been saying, but Reaper have only just moved the date.  I will still be going live with the pre-order section on the 22nd July, so that will give you all plenty of time to get your orders in. Just be aware delivery may take a little longer than usual.

In the meantime I hope to have something new in the store fairly soon.

Well the impending order is once again Mirliton. I’ve got the order ready but this is the last call just in case someone would like something. Remember, they shut down for the whole of August so its going to be late September / early October before I can order from them again.

End of line Ranges

Shadowforge  and Bederken stocks are almost depleted now, and I won’t be getting anymore in. Importing costs are just too high so if you want anything from what’s left, now would be a good time to grab it.

FigurePainter Magazine

Just a note to let you know of a little contest FP magazine are running on their Facebook page. Simply upload an image of your painted miniature onto their Facebook page and the one with the most ‘likes’ at the end of the month wins a free display plinth from Model Display Products.

MH forum member Inso is steaming away with his latest project, which is well worth a read by clicking on the above link. Well worth doing so too as his background writing is always well thought-out and a pleasure to read.

He’s also put this bad boy together.

Its a Reaper Pathfinder Dragon, sculpted by Julie Guthrie, and one of the best Dragons currently on the market. It’ll be even better when he’s painted it. Coming back into stock soon.

… a Reaper Hell Hound. But this one has been based and painted by Sean ‘Jabberwocky’ Fulton. I think its safe to say its pretty ‘hot’ paintwork. Its nearly finished so if you’d like to keep up to date with the finished piece, keep an eye on his forum thread by clicking on the image above.
